Summary

Delivered as part of the CRCNA’s education and workforce development research program , the SDSE program will deliver a culturally appropriate business training program with 20 Indigenous women in the East Kimberley.

These women will  participate in face to face, small group and virtual education and training sessions, culminating in an On Country Camp in September 2022 and a conference mid-2023.

Expected outcomes

  • Increased confidence in personal and business Money Smarts – measured by confidence sessions surveys and completion of a 6-month cash flow budget of the women’s business
  • Increased level of business education/skills (Business Growth Smarts) – measured by the Business Showcase the cohort will do at the On Country Business Implementation Intensive
  • Linkages to Support Access to Capital for Start ups from Westpac Banking
