The CRCNA has the flexibility to allocate funding towards research projects using different Expressions of Interest processes at different times throughout the year. These are:
Open funding calls
- Open Funding calls take place annually.
- The CRCNA outlines the research focus and critical research questions to be addressed by projects submitted through an Expressions of Interest.
Targeted funding calls
- Targeted Funding calls take place throughout the year.
- The CRCNA outlines the details of the project and the required outcomes and the submitted Expressions of Interest must detail how they would undertake the research project.
